Corsair CX600 fan failing

So a couple of days ago I had to shut my computer off in a panic because the PSU started making loud noises and I saw the fan was stalling, spinning slowly, and stopping altogether, and it's just done it again tonight.
After looking around online, it seems general opinion towards the CX series is negative because of poor quality parts, but I've yet to see anybody complain about problems with the fan.
Has anybody else encountered anything like this, and is there anything I can do without having to return the PSU?

If the psu is going out there isn't a while lot you can do to fix it besides pulling it out before it fries and takes other components with it. I had the cx850m and it was OK but I upgraded to a platinum series ax860 to be safe in the long run

if its still under warranty I would definitely just return it, i had a CX750 fail on me recently so not at all suprised

Either physically replace the fan or send it back. There is no easy software fix to fix a failing fan.

It probably uses the same as used in the CS550M; I had one that did the same thing. Corsair replaced the PSU with a better one.
