Corsair Hydro H50 Thermal Paste

Is the pre-applied thermal paste on the Corsair Hydro H50 any good?

Well for what the unit is made for, a simple to use basic low level watercooler, I'd say it's just fine. It's what they used in all the reviews I think.

Using a better high end paste might help a tiny bit. AS5 is not considered high end anymore.

^+1. AS5 is over rated now. It's OK as far as thermal paste goes, but I vote for MX2 and ShinEtsu.

I've made the switch from AS5 to CoolerMaster TF-400 a while back. It's been working good for me. I hear Tuniq TX-3 is also really good.

Ya, MX-3 is still out for consideration till they figure out the best app methods. Whish MX-3 makers would give best info, but noope.
