[SOLVED] Corsair Memory cmk16gx4m2z2400c16 vs CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

Hi

I have gigabyte aorus gaming 7 wifi X470 with AMD Ryzen 7 2700X installed with CORSAIR 2X8 GB cmk16gx4m2z2400c16 .
I would make it 32 GB, but in my country its very rare. the possibility series that I found is 2x8GB CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

I don't gaming but I used my PC to programming. While I compile the apps, I need more than 16 GBs. (My memory at task manager show it 100% while compiling apps)
So my Question

1. Could I mixed between cmk16gx4m2z2400c16 (2x8 GB) with CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (2x8 GB) so my memory computer can extend until 32 Gigs?
2. Is it slightly or somewhat different performance between 2400 MHz and 3200 MHz?

I need your help guys to decide it because my project near deadline.

it is really costly for 2x16 gb @ 3200 kit. Could it works if I mixed that?

my idea is maybe for this time i would go with preferences
2 X 8 GB @2400 Mhz + 2 X 8 Gb @3200 Mhz. Next time i would upgrade my 2400 MHz to 3200 Mhz. What d u think? Does it works?

Maybe it does not work.
Maybe it gives odd stuff or crashes once a week.
Your call if you want to mix ram.

Don't mix RAM with Ryzen. Possibly it don't run faster than 2133 and crashes a few times a day. For your own sake: get 2x16GB 3200C16. Crucial Ballistix works flawless with every Ryzen CPU/MB combination.

How if I mixed with other brand but same spec? did it works? my nearest store recommend for Team Elite Plus Black DDR4 PC19200 2400Mhz Dual Channel 16GB (2X8GB) 16-16-16-39 - TPD416GM2400HC16DC0

No. Other brand probably use different DRAM chips and that's the issue with Ryzen. For proper operation it has to be the same.
