Hello, I had a previous thread about my case but this doesn't matter atm, "check the edit in the last line"

1. corsair RM850 850w 80+gold
2. corsair rm850x 850w 80+gold
3. evga supernova 1000w p3 platinum

Which one should I buy !
Is that EVGA model better than the RMX! or should I stick to the RM model as if my maximum futuristic upgrade load not gonna exceed 750watts,

RMX is the same price as the EVGA for me, the RM is 20% cheaper

my current rig
asrock b550 pro4
5600x
noctua u12s redux
xpg spectrix d45g 2x8 4133mhz
1 sata ssd
2 7.2kRPM hdds
1 samsung evo 970 plus
gtx 1050 "i've rtx asus tuf rtx 3080 but I didn't setup it yet"
5x 120mm fan 3 ARGB

My future upgrades in my plans;
5600x to 5800x3D
+ 2x8 ram
+ 980 evo pro 1TB
+ 3 argb fans or 1 360/240mm AIO based on the temps I get with the noctua on the 5800x3D

Edit: I've found the Corsair rm1000x price is the same as the Evga one! but it says UK and my country uses 220v powers so idk if that's a problem. + Antec NEO ECO NE 1300w 80+Gold ATX 3.0!

so right now i'm so confused

Out of those 3 shortlisted PSU's, I'd choose the EVGA Supernova 1000w P3 platinum for the sake of holding onto the PSU but if you're worried about pricing then the Corsair RM850x would be next possible unit to get.

You never mentioned the make and model of your case.

RMx>RM(e)

Know nothing about that specific EVGA

In my own experience the Antec NEO Eco are a budget unit, however, I have not dealt with or seen one of that output or rating. I wasn't aware they used this particular naming category for units of that output. I have used the lesser units of that same branding in some office builds and had zero problems with them.

Contrary to popular belief, EVGA doesn't manufacture its own PSUs. That particular line (P2/T2/G3) from EVGA is based on SuperFlowers Leadex platform. For single-rail PSUs, there's nothing better on the market.

edit: I hadn't had my morning coffee yet, so I misread that as G3, not P3. It's a different OEM to Superflower. In light of this information, you should proceed with caution. EVGA chose a lower-cost alternative for this lineup to cut costs on tariffs.

You're better off going with Corsair, unless you can find a P2/T2/G3 somewhere.

I would have to go for the EVGA unit, Corsair is good, but EVGA out classes the RM in just about every way, not that the Corsair units are bad, that EVGA is just simply a better unit.
EVGA latest PSUs don't hold a candle to their older lines, unfortunately. It's too bad T2, P2, and G3s are all virtually non-existent.

OP: pick any PSU from the tier A category that meets your budget. Don't be concerned about ATX 3.0, as it is already being phased out.
