I purchased Corsair RM850e 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3.0 PSU.
I am using this PSU with Asus TUF B560M Plus Wifi, Intel i5 11400F and Asus TUF GTX 1630.
I am facing strange issue with this PSU.
When I boot up this system, the motherboard lights glow with all the fans spinning.
But within few seconds there is a click sound (which I get when the system shuts down) and all the fans stops momentarily, with the motherboard lights still glowing.
But the system boots into windows.
There is absolutely no problems faced while working on this system.
Can anyone tell if this is expected behaviour of the PSU?

Are you sure that the noise is coming from your PSU? Do you have any mechanical drives/hard disk drives in your build?

As for the momentary shut down, you might want to see if the BIOS for the motherboard is pending an update. If what I'm reading from your above post is correct, then it's the capacitors on the motherboard charging up, once charged, the system will shut down and power back up and then allow you to go into the OS GUI.

There are two NVMe SSDs 500 GB each and two Mechanical HDDs 1 TB each.
Before this PSU I was using CORSAIR CS850M 850W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 Plus Gold Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply.
With that PSU there was no such problem.
I am not sure if the problem is due to ATX 3.0 PSU

Re: Corsair RM850e Gold Power Supply - BIG PROBLEM

I bought a Corsair 4000 Airflow case with this PS as a package deal.
Great price but not worth it.
Have had issues for 2 months. PC has still not passed POST.

Bought a Thermaltake Dr. Power II PS tester - PS was defective RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!

Yesterday I discovered a HUGE problem:
Took the PS back & had it tested at the point of purchase - FAILED.
Got a 2nd one RIGHT OFF THE SHELF - had it tested - FAILED
Got a 3rd one RIGHT OFF THE SHELF - had it tested - FAILED

Then I bought an EVGA 850 Gold.

IMHO Corsair makes the best PC cases.
I will NEVER buy a Corsair PS again as they apparently have ZERO QUALITY CONTROL.
