Hello,
I'm curious to what the differences are between the Corsair TX650 VS TX650w PSU. Some say its just the sticker?
Is it worth having a replacement dispute? I had the TX650w and they replaced it with the TX650

If you go check their site you can compare the two products. They also have different prices here at the same stores in SA. One difference i found was that the TX650 has a thermal controlled fan unlike the TX650.

Are you sure your typing this right? Your just said TX650 and TX650........That's the same thing surely? If you could provide links to these two products that would be most useful....

And I provided a link to the Corsair website in my above post. There were two TX650w unit's and I listed their differences.

One is the original TX650 which was originally released a few years ago. It was only 80Plus certified.
Then the 650TXV2 was released either this year or last year to replace the old one and it is more efficient as well as slightly larger in terms of physical size.

They are both built by Seasonic, but obviously the newer one uses a newer platform.
There were some TX650s that were released which were built by CWT because Seasonic/Corsair were phasing out the older design but Corsair still wanted to sell the old ones/had commitments to fulfil.

If you've got the original version there's no pressing need to replace it. But if possible you should have made sure that you got the newer version.
