Corsair TX650 vs TX750: performance: noise & efficiency

I'd like to get the 750tx, but have one primary conern, the the 750 has a lot of noise in the 12v line comapred tot he the 650, but im not sure if it'll impact performace at all. efficiency is important too. 5 case fans, clarkdale overclocked, corsair h50, 2 hard disks, either radeon 5770, 5750, or 9800 gtx. the price fidd is only about 15$$ CAN, which make the 750 even more tmeping. any ideas.?

If you aren't going to crossfire, get the 650, if you are, get the 750.

Another vote for the TX650 even if you go for SLI/crossfire on the cards you mention it is big enough.

I have 750..Powerfull and stable.. have run two 5870 with x6 and no pobs at all..whichever suits your needs and budget, both good, if you think you will never have 750w parts then go 650, if you want a little wiggle room for future go 750!

I've decided to open up some more funds, and now im leaning toward the corsair 650HX, with up to 86% (tested) efficiency!!!!. Besides, i currentl will have a clarkdale for a longgg time oc'd, so no sli for me

ok, ive opened up my funds even more, and believe it would be most effective to purchase a modular. I kinda wish to be futureproof too. now its hx650 vs hx 750. I really mostly want efficiency...

As long as they are in tolerance, I do not worry much about noise levels on the 12 volt output. It's mostly going to be converted and filtered more in the motherboard and video card power regulators. And fans and drive motors really do not care.

ok guys, im deciding to cheap out and get a 50$$ 400w corsair power supply. what videoc ards do you think ill be able to run?

Modular is better - less cable clutter, better air flow.

If you start out with a 400 Watts power supply, you may be limiting yourself to future mods.

Go for the OCZ Fatal1ty 550W. It's a great deal. It can handle even a ATI 5870 easily.
If you would like to do 5870CF, the XFX XXX Edition 650W presents a very good price nowadays.
