CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 2x8gb 2400 compatibility with Z170A?

I just ordered the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400MHz 2x8GB and was unsure if it is compatible with my Asus Z170-A motherboard.

I'm asking because I just realised in the description on Amazon it states "Designed and optimised for the latest X99 chipset".

It is certainly compatible, all amazon are saying it is it will work slightly better with an X99 chipset. However, I wouldn't worry about it, you'll get good performance with the ASUS motherboard

hy guys i have a similar problem.my set up is
i7 6700k
asus z170a
corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 3200
gtx 760 oc
i enabled xmp and boot to windows succesfuly but when i try to play a game after 20 or 30 minutes freeze.i tried to oc the cpu 4.5 with xmp but i had the same problem when i play game.the motherboard has latest update

Try dropping the DRAM Voltage to 1.29v
I had the same problem with that RAM, and that finally made it stable with XMP at 3000MHz.
