Question Could a faulty CPU damage a motherboard?

Hi people, I hope you're having a good November,

Since the beggining of this year, I've been having stability problems with my current set-up. I have a lot of BSODs and tried everything to fix it (tons of clean installs, changing the XMP profiles, disabling Intel Technologies like Turbo-boost, etc...), but nothing worked. Today, doing a cinebench test and getting a bsod gave me the idea that the problem is the CPU.

Long story short: The i9 is damaged in some way since I have it from last year and before the release of the patches for the MOBO which fix the voltage issues. I have another i9 so I can change it without issues. I also bought another RAM set just in case.

But I'm a bit worried. Could the i9 damage the Motherboard in any way? It has always worked with the stock voltages and that implies that it has been working with the faulty ones. Could the CPU burn the MOBO pins or damage the chipset?

Thanks for reading and have a nice,
Silver

So long as you're on the latest BIOS version, you should be fine though Intel has been having issues since the 13th Gen, it's why I've been steering clear of Intel in my suggestions both on this platform and the real world. If the CPU does damage your board, make sure you've got pictures and/or videos of the damage that has occurred since they will be covered under your warranty period.

I understand, but unless there's physical damage on the board, the CPU shouldn't make any physical damage to the board itself even if it is faulty, right?
