Hi, I have had problems recently with none of my UDP ports working, TCP is fine.

I have tried everything! So now i wonder if my switch could be blocking them !

I have a : NetGear GS105 5 Port Gigabit Switch

Anyone know if its possible?

No, that's a Layer 2 switch. It's not possible for it to block ports or perform any type of routing. Double-check your configuration for port forwarding in your router. Make sure you have separate rules setup for UDP or have your existing rules set for "Both" depending on your router.

Hi this is some info pasted from my other thread about my ports:

Extra info:

11011 and 30033 are working fine but 9987 is not working!

When i check my ports i get this:

Success: I can see your service on xx.xxx.xxx.xxx on port (10011)

Success: I can see your service on xx.xxx.xxx.xxx on port (30033)

Error: I could not see your service on xx.xxx.xxx.xxx on port (9987)

When i run : netstat -tulpn I get this: http://gyazo.com/38a0e727891016732261433d625c1dd4

The server now runs on : Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 LTS

P.S: I tried putting 9987 on TCP/UDP but it makes no difference, i also tried DMZ.

The router is a BT HomeHub 5 , not sure what the exact model it is. I had the same problem on my old router , which was an ASUS RT-N12E (But that was with different ISP)
