So i found out some of my pc problems could be cause by my hdd. but upon testing i dont think it was it but none the less i want to get a new one anyway and was wondering if i would be able to use this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236642&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-All+Laptop+Hard+Drives-_-N82E16822236642&gclid=CLO50fHX_sMCFQ0V7AodEl4ACg&gclsrc=aw.ds

My friend sent it to me as a suggestion and i was set on it then i realized its meant for laptops. Im not sure if that would be a problem or not and i know i can trust anyone here. Thank you all in advanced!

Mainly Small SSD's are used for your OS and core programs. Games ect take up a lot of space, I use a 60GB SSD for my OS and core programs and its almost full. Are you are saying in your last post dropping to 8GB SSD? From my usage the 60GB is the minimum for your OS.

well i already have a 1tb hard drive that im going to keep using im just ooking for some more storage, im filling this one up good, and its nearly 10 years old now. So Im really just looking for an ssd with a decent amount of storage for cheap or a mixed drive.

I'm not sure if I'm getting an ssd or not quite yet. I just want a new drive haha.

looks promising to me. Im still doing some research into the sshd or hybrid drives that are hdd and built in ssd that automatically adjusts thing you use more frequently into the ssd partition.
