Could there be an interference with my wireless network card?

This has been happening to me lately... Im just surfing the internet or playing a game on my computer when suddenly my ping goes up to 200+ when im usually sitting at 10-40. I check my connection and its showing the yellow triangle saying "no internet connection". It stays like that for a random period of time of 30 seconds to about 5 minutes.
My wireless card is a DELL DW 1506 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Wireless LAN.It is 2.4ghz and ive been told that things can interfere with each other. I dont think its my modem or router since the connection works fine on other devices when mine is not.

My pc's specs are:
Alienware X51 ( Don't Hate )
Intel Core i5-4460 quad @ 3.2Ghz
Nvidia GTX 745 4GB ( OEM )
8GB RAM DDR3 1600Mhz
Windows8.1
1 TB HDD

You are using the 2.4ghz band which is a very crowded space now. Things like microwaves, phones and many other devices use 2.4ghz. You might want to try moving to a dual band setup with 2.4 and 5ghz. This will require a new router and wireless card.

An other option though is to use powerline. This would be in place of wireless. It uses your AC powerlines to transmit a signal. If you DON'T have noisy power in your home this might be easiest.

But if you want to ensure best wireless performance you really need to be moving to the 5ghz band.
