Hi, Great site and great people here. Been reading a lot of stuff here the last month or so, trying to research my very first build. Here's my thought so far:

Samsung Electronics MZ-7PD128BW 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 128GB SATA 6Gbps ($137, I want to 6Gbs per sec and I'll add some 7200 HDD I have laying around)

Any tips would be appreciated. I want to future proof this baby and eventually add another gtx 780. I'd like to get into over clocking in the future, nothing crazy. This is a gaming rig all the way. I only use one monitor. I like the fan control and size of this case and I've seen a few youtube videos where they can get the h100i in there with no issues. I thought about the Blackhawk Ultra but it's huge.

Anyone have a similar setup? Should I go with a bigger case? is 1000w enough if I want to add another GPU in the future? I think I'm getting close but I don't have any friends who have experience with this stuff.

Couple of things, Mobo is expensive if you are just looking to overclock a bit. Well even if you aren't with haswell a cheaper (around the 160-180 range) would be all that you need. You will hit the limits of that proc before you hit the limits of the board.

Could save a bit of money by getting something like a 212 EVO, those perform very well for the price. If you want a predone water cooler for looks or just to say you have one, fine.

Obviously as long as it has 2 pci-e ports and it has sli/xfire capability then it can. Though it has to be licensed. A single card with two gpus such as the 690 or 7990 isn't considered crossfire/SLi on its own and motherboard support isn't necessary as all that work is done on the PCB by bridge chips. Though some (most) motherboard manufacturers say they support 4x SLi/Xfire when in fact they only have two PCI-e slots.
