I am very happy. If you were to have cross-play in CS:GO or any of the CS games, kiddies from PS3, Xbox360 would always ruin the game play experience. I rather have it on the PC than consoles.
It's in no interest to Microsoft that their console users be owned by PC CS:GO players. Every time they get owned they are more wanting of a level playing field, i.e., the purchase of a PC, i.e., the loss of a Microsoft console user.
You might say the same for a Sony console user. I don't know how good/smooth/useable their system is with or without a keyboard and mouse.
[citation][nom]jl0329[/nom]Keep dreaming, a $300 console will never be able to run as good as a 999 dollar PC. If by sub 1000, you meant $300 PC, then I agree with you.[/citation]
You're right for today, but when consoles are newly released they are usually good value for the first few months. Of course for the 5+ years after that, yeah, they are pretty technically out of date.
Mixing console players with PC players in a FPS game, who got that idea in the first place anyway? It's like putting up a fat kid on track against Usain Bolt.
Wish it was cross-platform play so there would be a lot more players in servers. Now there are very little servers on source. Was hoping consoles would finally have some mouse and keyboard emulator or adapter like Unreal Tournament 3 had for PS3.
