good LORD DUDE!!! Not that I would ever condone or excuse this type of behavior, but I'd at least "get it" a tiny bit more if this was for a $100,000 prize or something. I mean, really? A knife? You could have just gotten into a fist fight and at least that way you're man to man, and you fight, you get it over with, you're best friends 2 days later, you share your wallhacks together (jk obviously), etc. This is nutso.
 
Gaming note: In CounterStrike to get beaten by someone using a knife is the most humiliating thing you can do to someone. This was definitely premeditated.

If this was a friend of yours who was stabbed, you wouldn't think that most of these comments are funny or a joke. That's why they are being deleted.

Cheating, glad he got stabbed. Cheaters are KILLING PC gaming. Not that I care, I gave up years ago and moved to console - all due to cheaters online. good riddance.

I don't know where you live, Marcus, but in my country, what you said means something VERY VERY different than sticking up the middle finger. (I assume you meant to say "one 17-year-old boy was given the middle finger.") I certainly don't think that anyone would molest a young man and then stab him for using wall hacks lol.

My sympathy goes out to his family though. I hope he will be alright.
 
The sad thing is that he probably wasn't even cheating. He was probably just winning and these other players got mad. People who play counter-strike can be very sore losers.

I've never cheated once in an online game, but get accused of it anytime I am doing well.
 
Somewhere in the article is a warning of graphic nature. I would of seem it if there wasn't a crazy photo of knife inside a skull distracting me!

Those of us with the maturity and mind of more than a 14 year old know that it means accused or blamed.
 
Let this be a lesson to all you other cheaters out there. Especially the ones that admit to it and don't get banned.

You frustrate people who are just trying to have a good time.

Karma is a bitch.
 
Some perspective and corrections are needed here:

1)We don't know the details of the fight, or who started it.

2)The boy was ACCUSED of cheating by some other kids. There is a very good chance he wasn't cheating at all.

All we KNOW is that some poor kid got stabbed in the head over a video game dispute. It's tragic and stupid. And if you find it justifiable in your mind to make jokes about a specific event as violent as this, you're tragic and stupid yourself.
 
Posting in an ancient topic I know. Just saw it and wanted to share my views.

Many people play CS with great interest and spend a lot of time practicing for achieving a higher level. But suddenly when some cheater joins and disrupts their interest and hardships than situations such as this one can be obvious when they're in the same place. This situation went too far, I know, but hey... NO ONE WANTS TO BE MESSED AROUND WHEN THEY'RE DEDICATED TO FAIR PLAY! On one side a person is playing with his skill and on the other side some noob comes in with hacks and gets them without even taking a breath! Now that's f*****g sick.

Cheaters are a disgrace to the gaming world and should be banned for life. PEOPLE NEED SOME HARSH EXAMPLES TO LEARN FROM.
