im getting a sapphire 4890 vapor-x

- what do u think about the Antec EA 650W psu for the gpu?

it has:

5V 25A

+3.3V 25A

+12V1 22A

+12V2 22A

+12V3 22A

- which driver would be better, the ones from the box or from the ati website?

The EA650 has plenty of power for a 4890. Crossfire 4890's would be pushing it, though.

I never even take the GPU driver disk out of the box. The drivers on the disk are pretty out of date by the time the GPU is packaged, sits on the shelf for who knows how long, and is shipped to you. It's best to download the drivers from the ATI website IMO.

i have the vapor-x 4890 on a budget cooler master 550w psu, and it works fine - and with 2 hdd's, a bunch of case fans, and a 3.8oc on a pII 955. the antec should be more than enough.
