CPU: AMD FX-8320 8 Core
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 780 Direct CU II
RAM: 8192 MB
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120XL
Software used to detect temperatures: CPUID HWMonitor

So I was gaming and noticed that my PC had a lot of load on it, so decided to close my game and let it cool off (CPU at about 65 degrees celsius and GPU at 77 degrees), shortly after doing so, I checked the temps to see if everything was cooled down, which it was, but I noticed something very odd, I am not sure if this was a software detection error, or if my CPU had actually reached temperatures of 193 degrees celsius, as indicated by the software. Is this something that I can trust, or is it an obvious software error? In the case that it was a correct detection, I would certainly be careful with playing high cpu-intensive games (like DayZ and Minecraft with game optimizing mods)

These temperatures were achieved during a game session of Minecraft, using a Shaders mod, which highly intensifies the load on the GPU and CPU, but substantially more on the GPU.

Solution
At 200C, the solder balls between the CPU die and the CPU package would have failed: most solder alloys used in BGA balls have a melting temperatures in the 140-170C range.
Thanks for the responses. I was thinking it should have been some error with the software. I guess if the software indicates those temperatures again, I should probably take it as I should give my CPU a break. Although that just makes me wonder what kind of a false detection could be off by so much, as mentioned it was only at 65C that I had monitored while playing.
