[SOLVED] CPU at 75% and GPU usage at 30% in GTA 5. RTX 2070 Super i7 6700 16GB Dual ChannelRam

According to ASUS GPU Tweak II my CPU and GPU usage is as above. While playing GTA 5 at any settings the FPS is always at 60-80 fps at any settings( Very High/ Normal). Almost 5-7 fps difference at higher settings. My temps are normal everytime without any OC.

PC Specs:
CPU: i7 6700 with Kraken x52 AiO
MB: Asrock B150m Pro4/Hyper
GPU: RTX 2070 Super

Make and model of your PSU? Might also want to see if you have BIOS updates pending for your motherboard. Also, have you tried uninstalling the GPU drivers using DDU and reinstalling them with the latest drivers found off of Nvidia's support site?

What was your prior GPU? You didn't need that AIO since you can't overclock on that chipset nor on that processor.

Offbrand PSU is 750W Bronze Rated
My previous GPU was GTX 960 4GB.
Also this B150m Motherboard has BCLK OC for older bios but i received it with latest bios. I was thinking of OCing the CPU.
I tried DDU using Safe mode and reinstalled using GeForce with Clean Install option.

I've this problem in this game afaik. Played SOTR with Max RTX Settings and Ultra Settings got stable 60-70 fps with 45 fps dips in heavy areas.

Be careful how you interpret task manager cpu utilizations.
Windows will spread the activity of a single thread over all available threads.
So, if you had a game that was single threaded and cpu bound, it would show up on a quad core processor as 25%
utilization across all 4 threads.
leading you to think your bottleneck was elsewhere.
It turns our that few games can usefully use more than 2-3 threads.
How can you tell how well threaded your games or apps are?
One way is to disable one thread and see how you do.

You can do this in the windows msconfig boot advanced options option.
You will need to reboot for the change to take effect. Set the number of processors to less than you have.
This will tell you how sensitive your games are to the benefits of many threads.
If you see little difference, it tells you that you will not benefit from more cores.
Likely, a better clock rate will be more important.

That is not doing you any favors. You should run your ram in matched pairs, for dual channel. Some titles are more affected by this, than others.

You have a quad core i7-6700 but it has 8 threads.
Windows sees only threads.
You can see if running with 7 threads makes any difference.
I would be interested to see how many threads GTA5 needs before performance is impacted.

I can try this now. With number of Processor set as 7

If you do, make sure it is a matching stick of ram, though getting a brand new 2x8gb kit, and removing that single 8gb, would be the best idea.

The problem is I just upgraded to this new GPU . So probably can't buy a new bundle rn but surely later in few months. I've one 8GB 2133 if I buy another same it would be better as my CPU supports 2133 ram afaik

one dimm will run in a slower single channel mode.
That is not so hurtful if you have a discrete graphics card.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when more sticks are involved.
I put your odds of success at perhaps 90%.
But, what is your plan B if the added ram is not compatible?

If you want 16gb, my suggestion is
to buy a 2 x 8gb kit that matches your current specs.
CPU-Z will tell you the speed, and timings of your current stick.
You will have a guaranteed to work 2 x 8gb.
Then, try adding in your old 8gb,
If it works, good; you now have extra ram.
Your 16gb will run in dual channel mode while the odd 8gb will run in single channel flex mode.
If not, sell the old ram or keep it as a spare.

Likely you were cpu limited to some extent before the graphics upgrade.
The upgrade should be very good for fast action shooters.
Not so much for sims, mmo and strategy games.

Just make sure it is the same exact model, as what you have, if this is the route you want to take. Mix matched ram can cause stability issues. It is always best to run in matched pairs.

Currently I have HyperX Fury 8gb 2133
So If I buy 2400 2x8 sticks will i be able to use 2400 or only 2133 speed? Planning to go with HyperX Fury 2x8 2400

The 2400 ram you want to buy will work since it will default to 2133.
Not a big deal, you will not be able to tell the difference in actual performance or fps.

Many B150m motherboards are said to have XMP..
Even my motherboard Asrock B150m Pro4/Hyper comes with XMP to change the profiles.
So will I able to select 2666 profile when I purchase XPG D30 2x8 sticks?

I'm not going for high speeds.. The only available sticks within my budget are these.. HyperX Fury are unavailable since long time and are also bit expensive than these with lower speeds. That's why buying the XPG 2666 sticks
