Hey i currently have an i5-2320 3.00Ghz running with an xfx 7950 on eyefinity overclocked to 890mhz (Works really good btw) and an B75MA-p45 socket 1155, and an antec 900w PSU

But i want to uppgrade to the 780 lightning will my cpu bottleneck my gpu?

and is there anything else i should think about when running the 780 lightning in nvidia suround?

Is there anything further that i should think of?

I really want that GPU because of the overclocking opportunities, what CPU should i get then, something that isnt to expensive please

What about my motherboard, i really want to upgrade that for future uppgrades any good suggestions?

I have the cooler master HAF 912 plus midi tower if it matters:)

Solution
Apart from a recommendation of a 600 Watt with a minimum of 42 amps on the 12v rail, there are no other system requirements for a GTX 780. Your CPU will run the card, but it is possible that some bottle-necking will occur. But of course, the card is easily transferred to a new upgraded motherboard / CPU.

Yes thanks, i have a antec 950 watts, and im going to buy the cpu and motherboard recomended above, any more suggestions?
