The past two days I have started having weird issues with my cpu. (3600x)
Yesterday it started out with consistant spikes while watching youtube going from ca 8% - ca 40% - ca 100%. I reinstalled all browsers freshly and used no extensions, and even then a single tab of youtube would spike it, as well as other spikes while browsing reddit for example. Today after troubleshooting my ass off I decided enough was enough and did a fresh factory reset of windows, however.....
My cpu is now stuck on 100% no matter what programs are open, if I don't open anything, desktop window manager or some other windows task is taking about 60-80% but it's still stuck on 100 in task manager. If i open chrome then the only difference is chrome sometimes takes most of it.
I'm genuinely lost atm so any tips would be appreciated.
