Cpu cooler is too loud

hey i have the thermaltake frio and it is simply was too loud for my liking. its so annoying to be honest. even if i put the fans on low once i start playing battlefield then it makes the most annoying sound. is there anyway in which i can make the sound lower or can you reccomend me a cheap, quiet and cool cou cooler for me. my cpu gets as hot as 60 degrees celcius when playing battlefield and it like a small heater in my room. thansk

Well understand that no matter what cooler you get, it won't change the amount of heat the CPU is generating. A better cooler will simply be better at transferring that heat from the CPU to the the room. I guess what I am saying is, whatever amount it is heating the room, it will continue to do the exact same amount no matter what cooler you put on.
