Guys I just want to ask what would be the best cooler for my i7 2600k?

I am not planning on overclocking it now (maybe in the future), I just want to replace the stock fan because I am having problems with it regarding temps.....
I prefer closed-loop water cooling or air cooling. budget is around $70-$80

Corsair H80, & Antec 620 are the best in that price range (but get a second fan for push-pull if you get the Antec 620). The Antec 920 is better, and you get controller software with it. The Corsair H100 is supposed to be even better, but doesn't have the controller or software, and you have to get inside to the cooler (there's a button on the pump) to regulate it if you don't have the controller software.

Thanks. I was planning on having an Antec 620 because the Corsair H80 is a bit too expensive for me. Is the Antec 620 okay for my i72600k? Does this have issues regarding leaks?

The H100 is the only closed loop cooler that equals or is a tiny bit better than high end air cooling. It is also much more expensive and since you are not overclocking there is no reason to spend that kind of money. Get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo for $35. When you do decide to overclock it will get you to the 2600Ks sweet spot of 4.5Ghz with no problems. It is also quiet something the closed loop coolers are not.

I have the 620 in my server and the 920 in my gamer. No leaks. I bought the 620 in May and had it running on my gaming rig. I built a home server recently and downstreamed the 620 to the server and bought a 920 for the gamer. With a push-pull config on the 620 it runs almost as cool as a 920.

thanks... So the 620 with push-pull config is going to be alright with the i72600k? I am not planning on overclocking it, I just want to make sure that my cpu will be running fine and not so hot specially when I am rendering, the temps are quite hot.....
