CPU Cooler Question

Hi so i recently bought this and got it in the mail https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835856026 but i miss interpret the included brackets so my question is for my Ryzen CPU could i try using the 2011 setup or do i have to use the painful old AMD method?

You mean the amd tab bracket & spring clip ?

Thats always been by far the best stock cooler mounting in the history of home built pc's imo.

I like the newer AMD methods with the way the Ryzen coolers are with screwing it into the back plate which is why i am asking this question about the 2011 bracket that is included with the cooler and the only reason why i am replacing the Wraith Stealth as well is for overclocking purposes just because i don't like the temps i am getting right now with my current cooler.

2011 is intel,only so you have no choice but to refit the amd tab brackets & use them.

Still dont see an issue with that, its always worked well.

I have been using Intel all of my life so when using this cooler on my old i5 2500 https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=9SIADDZ5HT3434 it was a pain in he the butt because it is a mounting type i am not used to so you can see what i mean by painful method.
