CPU Cooling OPtions for Case

I have an older case the Antec P180. I'm not sure what cooling options are compatible and this case isn't listed on any of the manufacturers websites as it's old I bought it in 2007. pcpartspicker makes suggesting on cpu cooler compatibility but not sure how accurate this is. Are all cooling systems compatible with ATX cases despite when they were made?

Different cases have different height limits for cpu coolers. http://www.antec.com/specs/P180_spe.html actually still gives some specs for the case, though not cpu cooler height clearance. The review at http://www.silentpcreview.com/article255-page6.html shows it with a Scythe Ninja (150mm tall) that looks like it just barely fits in the case, so I wouldn't expect taller coolers to fit.

An oldie but goodie.
Measure the height available. I think a standard 160mm tall cooler will be ok.
If you have any doubts, the cryorig H7 is an excellent cooler with a 120mm fan and it is only 145mm high.

what about water cooling systems? Are they compatible with the p180 antec case?
