Hi , my computer is crashing when i do the cpu tests in 3d mark 2003. It also crashes after a min playing a game with a message of 'system failure cpu failure' coming from the motherboards vocal posts. It would seem to be a cpu problem but the computer runs benchmarks such as pc mark 2002, or a managerial game with no graphics ok. Im very confused, i hope someone can offer me some help, the temps are ok, and i got a 420watt power supply.

How is the air flow in your case?

What kind of temps are components running at?

Are any of the rails (3.3v, 5v, 12v) under their ratings just before problems occur?

Well that sux.
Are you overclocking? If so, dont OC and see if you still get error.

If you are not OCing or still get errors, I would still suspect temps (i know you said they are okay). SInce you have an Asus, Install and Run Asus Probe. Programs>Asus Utilities>Asus Probe. Go to settings and let it record your cpu temp during the crash. If you are checking temps while the cpu is idle this will not be a good representation of your temps during intense 3D apps.
