Hi,
Recently my CPU fan speeds up like crazy when Windows starts. In BIOS and before it gets to Windows it is normal speed. I have checked the fan settings in the BIOS and all looks normal.
My temperatures are good and I removed the dust from my PC and the fan is still running fast. Even when Coretemp informs me my CPU is sitting at around 35C idle with no load and the fan is still going hyperactive.
Is it possible something in Windows or a program is causing this? I don't think I have any programs that influence the speed of the fan nor does this look like this should happen according to the fan curves in my BIOS.
Any suggestions about what is causing this and how I may fix it?
