CPU fan on radiator ramps up

Whenever I am playing a game for example GTA 5 for about 4-5 hours and the cpu gets to 60 degrees celcius the cpu fan on the radiator ramps all the way to 11 is seems like and yet I have the fan curve to have it on the LOWEST rpm what is the problem here?

what are you setting the fan curve with?

if i use speedfan it reads my cpu temperature incorrectly

@mcnumpty23 I am doing it within the BIOS on my M POWER Z97 board

yeah i ended up doing it in the bios as well

but one thing i noticed if i run the asrock control software at startup to use features in it

it also has the ability to over ride what i set in the bios with out telling you it has

though no idea if msi boards have like a control centre software and if so if you are using it

but in the bios did you do a preset option--like silent/normal/full etc

or did you do a custom curve?

@mcnumpty23 the msi board comes with a custom curve that I have set to the lowest but have attempted to create a "normal" curve but had the same issue at 60 degrees its like its not listening to me.

check in your custom curve that its set to monitor cpu not motherboard if your bios has that option in fan control

it is set to monitor the cpu mate.
