I'm using a Hp Pavillion G7 laptop and my temperature is rather high:
While browsing :70
While gaming : 85-93 °C
I noticed these temperatures a month ago so i decided to open her up and change the heat paste(http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/283454/Thermally-conductive-paste-85-WmK-1-g-Max-temperature-110-C-Gelid?ref=list) and clean the fans etc. (followed this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hNgFNH7zhQ)
When I gamed the next day the highest temperature I reached was 66°C, so I was a happy little camper. Now just a short while later It is back to 85-90 degrees.
Ambient temp between 20-25°C, air intake is free, fan seems to be working correct (how can I check if this really is the case?)
What is the most probable reason?
