Hi,
In my new pc I'm running a R7 3700X with a front mounted corsair h100i platinum for cooling, but my idle temperatures are around 40°c, is this normal? It feels like it's kinda high...

It's in the phanteks p400a, and has 3 exhaust fans (the ones that were at the front of the case normally).

It also doesn't really go over 65°c when under load 🤔

Solution
Hi, those temps sounds fine for Ryzen 3rd gen. Whats your room temp?

Idle temps vary depending on room temp, radiator placement, fan setup, etc.

Then again I wouldn't worry. Idle on Ryzen is not like on Intel.
it's not alarming, probably a function of your motherboard's cooling profile likely silent or moderate cooling. most turn the fan down/off completely @40-45'

Kinda varies, goes between like 15 and 25°C..

But thanks for the info about these being normal temps.
