Hey

I have a E6300 2.8GHz Dual Core processor
In system properties it shows one core as a 2.8Ghz and the other as a 2.67Ghz.

Is it not supposed to display each core as a 2.8Ghz?

I have attached a image[/img]

Ignore WIE and use a real benchmark and better monitoring software.
Download CPU-z to monitor your CPU, use HW-monitor- to monitor your temperatures, and run passmark or 3d vantage to benchmark.

I have my E5300 (stock 2.6GHz) overclocked 1GHz to 3.6GHz and WIE still marks it as running at 2.6GHz. However, my CPU score did improve from 5.7 to 5.8 (and I thought the 5.8 number didn't exist)

I have just overclocked my CPU from 2.8GHz(stock) to 3.0GHz and system properties identifies that fine. My first time overclocking btw :) my Rating for cpu is 6.5 which is not bad. @ Bluescreendeath, how much louder is your system now that its overclocked by 1ghz?
