Hello ,
I have a r5 1600 AF and asus prime b450m-a
if i set manual cpu ratio (all cores ) to 3.6ghz cpu at warzone cpu only 20% ( only one core being utilized to 80% rest run at 1~4 % ) normally 70~75 % and power only 40w normally pubg 1 frame didnt get to lobby stuck at initialization screen but if i set it to 3.7 ghz it runs fine power goes back to 70~75w (normal) every thing is fine and i get more fps cuz cpu with default runs at 3.4 all cores i did test this multiple times and still same anthing below or above 3.6 runs ok normal power consumption and utilization but 3.6 only 40w for some reason btw 3.6 is supposedly the cpu boost clock so anyone have any explanation ?

If you are doing manual OC by multiplier then you should also adjust voltages and power accordingly. Start with LLC first.

the thing is if 3.6 needs like higher voltage or so shouldn't 3.7 be same ?
It's juggling voltage and power that gets best results. Ryzen like most modern CPUs has own algorithms for Min/max frequency, boost and voltages, power etc. Once you override them manually that doesn't go away. Voltages can and do drop with load even when set manually.
Best way to find it's limits is to run it under full load with all set to auto with PBO on and see what it does with all parameters and then duplicate them manually.
