[SOLVED] CPU keeps saying usage at 100%

Hey guys i need help, im only new to gaming on PC and I keep getting a warning of “CPU usage 100%” when I play games like assetto corsa, Beamng drive ETC, was wondering if anyone’s knows what the problem could be as I was told that the PC would be able to run most games at 120FPS, I brought the pc second hand off Facebook, should I just take it to Pc specialist to get it fix?

There's nothing to fix in CPU, It's likely overloaded and can't keep up with demand, maybe there's other things running in the background, have a virus or something like that. Or it may be overheating and throttling, Or just not set for best performance. You could start by checking background processes in windows and eliminating any not necessary from starting automatically as well as check for malware. That CPU should have no problem with that game.

would you just recommend me taking it into a computer specialist as I’m 100% sure how to check everything?
 
reboot, look at task manager what is the CPU doing?

Have you reloaded windows with a fresh install (this can do wonders)

Say for example was the person saying it played games good at 1080P and your trying to run it on a 4k or 1440P monitor? Resolution is a huge factor on FPS.
