Question CPU light flashes, then VGA light stays on, and PC won't POST ?

Hello, I've been having this issue for about 2 weeks now, where whenever I boot my PC the CPU light on the motherboard will stay on for a few seconds, turn off, and then a few seconds later the VGA light comes on and stays on forever, never booting. I previously made a post asking to fix this, but new posts seem to get more attention so I will ask again. I have a tried a multitude of things to fix this already, including resetting the CMOS, reseating the GPU, swapping RAM sticks, nothing works though.

I don't have a way to determine whether one part is causing the problem by swapping it with another, as this is my only build, and I previously found out my old PSU (GAMEMAX VP-600) was considered a really bad unit, so I went out and got a better one, hoping that it was causing the issue, but unfortunately this solved nothing and I really would rather avoid this expensive trial and error process.

I don't know what would have caused this, as I didn't make any changes to my system the day before the error started happening, and my PC has been working fine for about 3 years prior to this.
If anyone has any suggestions of fixes I could try, please let me know.

Here are my PC's specs:
MOBO: MSI B450 A Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: EVGA Geforce RTX 2060
Storage: ADATA SU635 480gb & Samsung 870 EVO 1tb
PSU: Corsair RM750e

the VGA light comes on and stays on forever
The VGA seems to be the most probable cause of the problem. Since your CPU does not have an integrated graphics, there would be no way other than swapping VGA. Not a solution, but, disconnect VGA from MB and PSU then power on PC and look what happens to the LEDs on the MB.

Okay, I tried that and the same thing happened where the VGA light goes on and stays on.

I really wish I could test if it's the PCIe slot that's the problem but I can't fit it into any other slot.

Why can't you fit that in the second slot?
My board didn't come with Wifi or Bluetooth, so I got a little PCIe chip for that. I don't know how to remove it but I'll try to figure that out, as I need to know if it would detect my GPU in another slot.

You're probably right that it's the GPU, but I wonder what caused this in the first place? Is it common for these components to just stop working overnight without any real catalyst? (I mean the fans still spin, so I assumed the issue might instead lie with communications between the motherboard and itself.)

About 60 years troubleshooting electronics problems tells me that problems usually appear in this manner, i.e. without any warning.

First of all, I'd like to say thanks to everyone for the support so far, but I'm at a loss for what to do. I don't know of anyone who would be willing to lend me their GPU, and I don't want to buy a graphics card unless it's really 100% unfixable and there's nothing I can do about it. (they are so expensive these days!)

Were you able to diagnose the issue? I just had a similar issue with my MSI b450m motherboard.
