Hi I'm looking for some info on what to buy I'm looking for bang for buck. I currently have a i5 z97 base with a rtx 480 8gb 500w corsair psu. I would like to upgrade so I can get 4k on fifa21 and as close to 4k on titles like cyberpunk 2077 and farcry6 when it is released. It will be used for gaming only I have around £600 - 700 for a mb CPU Ram and graphics no preferace on merchants happy to buy from multiple. I will be have the money in about 3 weeks. card any advice would be great.

You are really needing to buy a new system and for 4K most or all the budget will go on the gpu alone. If you are at this budget you won’t beat the gaming performance of a new generation console at 4K.

Like the previous poster pointed out ... the gpu alone is going to suck up your budget seeing how you are choosing to game at 4K and an RTX 3080 is going to run you £800. I'd keep my psu and graphics card atm and purchase them later on when you have more money. As far as the board, cpu and RAM goes ..

Flip a coin and it comes down to what fits your budget. Both are solid for gaming.

If a 3080 is outside of the realms of possibility budget-wise you can always render games at 1440p and upscale to 4k.
