Look at the socket where that pad goes. If that's the original pad (and there wasn't a pin there), then chances are that pad isn't connected to anything in the socket anyway, as sockets generally either have holes or pins but not both. And there are no pin indents in any of those pads.

Make and model CPU - specs?

Does the CPU work without the silver pad in place?

Could be that the pin is unused.
Ryzen 5600x, i checked the diagram of pinout and its the MB_DQS_L[3] pin, its a data pin that is used by dual channel ram. I checked every dimm slot and there is DRAM debug light. When i removed the ram and tried CPU only there is CPU light.
