CPU Monitoring software

Anyone know of a decent (and preferably free) product to monitor your CPU usage? Sure, there's the task manager, but it's only got a short display time. Works for real-time, but not for long-term tracking. I'm just thinking it would probably be useful for all these poeople coming in wondering about upgrading their CPU's and mobo's without positively knowing whether it's that or their GPUs that are the bottleneck. That, and I think having a day or weeklong history would give people a better idea of their needs.
