Its bin 2 months of trying to fix my pc. I have no idea what is wrong with it. So at first, my pc would of turn off after 30 min but then 2 days latter 20 min etc ( went down hill). So I changed the cpu fan because it went up from 45c to 104c in 5min(doing nothing). That fixed the problem. So I began playing video games at night and in the morning the pc turned off after 15min. This time with no heating problems. So I change the power supply, still there was problems. So I got a new motherboard, with problems. New cpu, still the same problems. I checked the ram they are fine. So when I take out my graphic card now and use on board graphics it does not turn off. So could any one tell me what to try next?

i5 2400 and Celeron CPU G540 @ 2.50GHz cpu
msi z77a-43 and msi z77a g45
Thermaltake 700 W psu
gtx 760 msi
8gb ram kingston genesis

Your graphics card is probably bad. Try to RMA it. You have narrowed it down to the graphics if you have no issues with onboard graphics. Weird about the CPU getting really hot but it could be to errors being thrown by the graphics card. Also make sure the graphics card is fully set in the slot. Had someone who had this problem that was pulling his hair out. Didn't realize his card wasn't fully set in place.

Last time I played a game with the gpu for a bit and it turned off. I unplugged the power and touched the gpu to see if its hot .... it was burning hot.

I forgot to say that when I used the i5 with on board graphics it turned off after a bit.
And the Celeron is still going as we speak with on board graphics.
