Question Cpu not beeping/booting while GPU 960 is inserted

Specs: Amd Fx 6100 - 6core processor
8gb Ram ddr3
Gtx 960 4gb ddr5
mobo : asus m5 a78L-mLx-v2

Computer worked absolutely fine till last night i.e 16th feb 2019 with normal shutdown. When i turned on today it failed to boot. Later after many try & error found its ok to boot without GPU inserted. But if i insert the gpu in the pcie slot it fails to boot up. Updated bios to latest version still not working. Help me to understand if my GPU is broke. Its been in use for past 3yrs with no failures whatsoever.

Sounds like your power supply is failing. More specifically, the Capacitors are failing. This would cause your system to fail to boot up.
Another option is your motherboard is failing.

but it was working absolutely fine last night with games like pubg & apex legends.

It may have been working...barely, and this morning it was working just enough not to give enough power when the system needs the power surge on bootup. This is common. If you have access to a multimeter or a voltage meter, check the voltages on your system and see if they drop more than 10%.
