Hello,

I finally realized after a year that my CPU, an i3-10100f, runs CS2 at 3.6 GHz MAX.

The temps never go about 75 degrees, so it's not a heat issue.

How can I get it to run at a constant 4.2-4.3 in game?

"Intel Turbo Boost" should be enabled in the BIOS so it will run at 4.3GHz

To do this, go to your BIOS > CPU configuration > Intel Turbo Boost Technology > Enable > Save Changes & Exit BIOS

Now, upon restart of the system, you'll see the increase of GHz when you need it in-game :)

Hi,

my i3-10100f, when at high usage, will have low clock speed. I need it to run at 4.1 - 4.3, the max it can go, all the time when gaming.

thanks

not always though, it will happen when the temps have a bunch of headroom and also when there's a load. it should go upto 4.3GHz when conditions are met.

did you try running a CPU benchmark to see if at least then it will go to those frequencies?

At benchmark it shows 99% utilisation and low freq

I have no problem with heating

4.3 GHz will be the clock if only 1 core is used; with all cores loaded, you would under ideal circumstances see 3.9 GHz, but, this might lower after 60-90 seconds to meet BIOS-specified/imposed TDP 65W goals, depending on mainboard....
