Hi there im new to cpu oc, and i have a question, can you increase the max ratio of a cpu clock in the bios?
Mine is set to 3.8 ghz max for an intel i7 2600K
The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3
Is there any possible way to increase that max clock to like a 4.2 gzh etc?

For your CPU, I7 2600k, ideally you'd want a Z68/Z77 chipset based mobo. This would simply allow you to change the multiplier and away you go.

With an H67 chipset that's not possible. You can try increase the BCLK, but this is not a good way to OC your chip. Unless you have a high end mobo, OC the BCLK from lets say 100 to 103, can not only OC your CPU, but also OC the bus speeds of other peripherals (e.g GPU/Mem) so BLCK OC's are not always safe, and are nearly always unstable.

Disclaimer: by saying you could change BLCK from 100 to 103, I'm not for a moment recommending that, if it's an option on your mobo. You would want to research BCLK OC'ing, and look at the impacts. You would be starting low and only increasing BLCK by small increments. You would NOT change it from 100 to 103 with testing options in between. As I said, it can fry hardware.
