cpu over heats

My cpu tends to over heat when im either browsering the web or playing games. Like GTA 5, League of legends, dark souls 3, etc

causes my pc to freeze

My specs are:

OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU: AMD FX 8350
PSU: CORSAIR HXi Series HX1000i 1000W 80 PLUS PLATINUM
GPU(primary): MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB
Mobo: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
watercooler: CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CW-9060007-WW) High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm

Sorry if this is too basic but make sure the pump and fans are working at speeds they should be.
That chip runs hot and the H60 is not a very good watercooler (about the same as the Evo212 on air).

Overclocked? if so you may have to lower it to stabilize temps.

If that fails then try reapplying your thermal paste.

Are you overclocked?
Also before you go and buy a new cooler, try reapplying the thermal paste.
