Question CPU overheating at start of games ?

Hello everyone,
My CPU goes from 55 degrees to 75 as the game is loading and then drops back to normal.
It has only just started doing this though, I can't think of what has changed other than a Windows update and an Nvidia driver installation.

75c is not overheating, not even close to it.

Stock coolers by Intel for LGA1700 are not only bad, but completely TERRIBLE. I advise you get a newer cooler, like the Thermalright Peerless Assasin 120 SE, or the Deepcool AK620, these CPU coolers support Intel LGA1700 and are perfect for your needs!

It's not exactly a good cooler.
Get yourself a decent tower style cooler.

Some games may be doing shader compilations at the beginning of the game.
Those are very taxing on cpu and can spike temperatures fast.

And I think some games are CPU intensive so that could mean temps are getting higher by playing
