my cpu keeps overheating on idle. it gets to upwards of 95 degrees and gives me a warning to check if the pump is connected correctly. i thought my pump was bad so i bought a new one. redid the thermal paste and it still gets to around 90 degrees. help?
here are my specs
gpu: evga 3070
cpu: i7-12700kf
mobo: msi pro z690 a wifi ddr4
ram: x pg 2x16gb
aio: h60x elite
psu: 850 watt

I would suggest you have too little AIO for the heat the CPU is capable of producing. A 240mm or larger would be more suitable.

Do you have the AIO mounted to the rear or top of your case?
i have it mounted to the top. i’m not sure if the old aio pump is even broken. it had 2 fans. it seemed fine but i did because that’s what i was seeing.
