I got a bit, just a small bit of non conductive ceramique 2 paste on my cpu pins (like 2) I put back in and had no problems, is this ok?
edit - when i say little i mean barley anylike its just like coating and its not on the pins.

Solution
Yes but you may wana take it back out and clean it (A toothbrush and some Isopropyl would do the trick), could cause problems later on down the road, never purposefully gunk up any kind of socket.

A conductive paste on pins can cause a short circuit.

A non-conductive paste on pins can cause a loss of connection.

Either way, you gotta clean it. However, since you say you've already put the CPU back in, the damage is already done. You've already got paste in the socket. Just clean it off as best as you can and hope it doesn't cause problems in the future.
