im buying this processor i5 3570k and i was wondering if i buy h100 water cooling system do still have to buy a cpu or heatsink

Solution
No. The H100 has a mounting mechanism for the CPU. The thing is that cooling is a total overkill in my opinion. Unless you are aiming to push the chip to its limits.

sorry if im asking alot, but if i buy the h100 i wont need more fans in my case? i can just use that to cool the whole systtem? sorry a bit new.

You don't need to buy any additional cooling for the CPU, you just mount the radiator on top of the CPU the same as you would any air cooling unit (well, almost).

If you have the extra money for 20 - 30 dollars more get the H100i it's a better unit overall.

If you aren't doing any overclocking though, the stock cooler usually does fine.

Case fans are usually intended for something else. Case fans also greatly affect GPU, HDD/SSD and motherboard components temperatures as well. A Cooler Master 212 Evo without case fans will also be sufficient (provided that there is no overclocking present or lots of dust).

A H100i cools your CPU and that's it. It also still requires fans because ultimately conventional water-cooling and air-cooling work on the same principle of moving heat from the CPU to the air, then using fans to get rid of it.
Case fans are still needed to provide fresh air to the radiator, and all the other components in your case that still are being air-cooled which include GPU, SSD/HDD, RAM, mobo VRM and North/South Bridge.
