Dear community,
The problem is as follows: During the last shutdown, Windows seemed to shut down correctly, but the PC did not because all the LEDs were still lit and the fans were spinning. Until then, the computer was running normally. Now, on startup, I can't even get into the BIOS and the CPU and RAM LEDs are lit.
I had a similar issue where CPU and RAM LEDs lit, here a short summary:
I wanted to activate EXPO, which worked, but the PC then took a good 5 minutes to boot up and both LEDs were lit. When I then manually set the RAM to 5200MHz (the maximum should be 6000MHz according to the manual) everything ran normally again.
What I have already tried:
- CMOS reset
- only one or two RAM bars
- BIOS flash
- looking for bent pins
My system:
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
4x 16GB G.Skill Flare EXPO X5 DDR5-6000 DIMM CL32-38-38-96
MSI Tomahawk WIFI AMD B650 So.AM5 DDR5 ATX Retail
