Late last night me and a friend where checking to see why I was having low fps issues, we figured out that it was because my RAM speed was at 1067mhz, I downloaded a software to overclock it and see what happened. I went through the whole process overclocked my RAM, my computer restarted, and then wouldn’t boot up again. I have a red light showing on the motherboard on the one labeled CPU. The LED/RGB lights are on and the fans are running.

Things I have tried:
  • Reseating my GPU
  • Changing which slot my GPU is in
  • Reseated my RAM
  • Taken out the MOBO battery for 30s and inputting it back in
  • New cords leading from my GPU to my monitors
  • Switching out which Pcie cables I used
My specs:
  • GPU: Radeon rx 5700 xt
  • MOBO: Msi 570 gaming edge
  • PSU: Corsair 570x (idk the watts)
  • RAM: 2 8gb Corsair sticks
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 3700 xt (I believe this is what I have, it was a little over a year ago since I bought it)
I’m fairly new to the whole pc building community in terms of knowledgeability, so I would appreciate any help I could get, it doesn’t need to be perfect, I just need to be able to run my pc again. It powers up, with the lights and everything, just my monitors will not power up because of something inside of the pc.

Solution
This:

"I downloaded a software to overclock it"

What software did you use and where did you get it?

How high did you overclock?

Will the computer boot into Safe Mode?

Or boot without the GPU via integrated graphics (depends on the CPU)?

Does the following link provide the User Manual for your motherboard?
