Good day ladies and gentlemen, so i currently use amd athlon x4 760k *stock, not overclocked*, with COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO *properly installed*, and coollaboratory liquid ultra thermal compound *properly applied*. After i installed my new R9 280, my cpu started going crazy, at low load the temperature is around 50/60, under heavy load 60/75, sometimes spikes to 80c, i bealive the problem can be solved by changing few numbers in the BIOS, but im not really familiar with it. Any ideas, any help will be very appreciated, i fear that this temperatures will shorten the life of my pc, or worse.

Solution
Your thermal margins at full load mean that your CPU is 30°C from throttling; not from failure. Unless the fan fails, there's no way the CPU will throttle. Everything is great; stop worrying and enjoy your system!
i did installed the program, and took those screenshots. https://scontent-ams2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t31.0... / https://scontent-ams2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlf1/t31.0... this is with only Google Chrome on. The frequency is going crazy form 1000 to 4000 MHz back and forth.
PS: I also noticed that, when i play a very demanding game, like middle earth shadow of mordor, the temperatures are actually lower, when the cpu is under high load....
High load: 50c
Idle: 65c, 70c

Have you ever change any settings in the BIOS?

No, there were no overclocking of any sort, but the video card i use now have dual bios button (UEFI) that is always enabled, even when the button is off. The problem started when i installed the vga, i had my suppositions that the bios may be the cause, also some monitoring programs have difficulties detecting the frequencies of the video card, is it possible for the gpu to try to overcompensate for the undetectable status of the vga?

But mine are around 60c 65c 70c are you sure this is ok, i fear this temps will shorten the cpu life span.
Part 2: so i did a bit of a research, and from what i understood, if the margins show 60c, it basically means that i have 60c until my cpu fail, this is the same reason why under load shows 30c (30 until dangerous temperatures for the cpu) am i correct?
