Question CPU temps high

Hello everyone.

So I built my first PC today, and surprised to see from benchmarks that my CPU when on load goes up to 94 C (Probably reducing the performance to not go above this) and minimum temps are sitting at around 60 C.
I am very confused why this is happening.

My build:
AMD Ryzen 2600x (Stock settings)
be quiet! Dark Rock 4
16 GB 3200 MHz RAM
Gigabyte RTX 2060
Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming
Lian Li LANCOOL ONE DIGITAL

Hope someone has a fix for this, thanks!

Gut feel poor contact pressure between the heat sink and the CPU. It's not unknown for people to have left the plastic film over the thermal paste on the heat sink (I've personally been involved in 3 of those I think). If it were intel I'd blame pushpins, but this should be a bolt down cooler?

What do you exactly mean by "bolt down"?

I didn't look at Ryzenmaster too much, but I believe just browsing through chrome got me up to mid 70 C, and the tool I measured the 94 C with is called "Core Temp", but I think ryzenmaster would've given me the same results.

It is also pretty hot in my room, but I don't think that would have this tragic effects.

So we have a real problem. Personally I believe that the only thing that can cause that high and idle and load is contact pressure. Bad paste would be maybe 10C above expected temps at the very very outside. Bad airflow likewise 10-15C but only have an extended period of time.

Correction there is one other thing, voltage... but there is only one bios version for your board and it supports your chip.

Two things to do, reset bios to defaults (in case it is using higher voltage than it should)
Reseat the the CPU cooler.

Alright, well I am not sure if this will have a connection but I'll tell anyways. I couldn't install the chipset drivers because of some error including not detecting something that is needed.

UPDATE

I tried putting the computer sideways, so that gravity helps the cooler, and the temps went down to 65 - 69 on full load.
I will reseat the cooler soon. Thank you all for helping! :)
