Heloo. I have laptop Hp 6735b. It is over 6 years old. Last few weeks it keeps to shout down when gets more process to do. It get hotter and shuts down. I bought cooler pad but didn't help a lot. So i decide to open it and see termal pasta and change it after 6+ years. It was never changed and this is picture how it looked after opening.

So any advice to do in forward would help a lot.

Thx Jobube

I hope this is not the case but you could have a hole in your Heat Pipe and the fluids leaked out. You might be able to find the exact same laptop on eBay for sale that is not working so that you can take the parts you need. You could maybe get the heatsink here...
I didnt mean to do it now. I allredy did it 2 years ago. And that is same motherboard still working. We try everything so as last we decide to bake it ,and it worked. Didnt cost anything so. But now that is not problem. Problem is overheating of cpu. Still don't know what to do....

This is assuming your heatpipe is damage. Look it over for holes first before you waste the money on a new heatsink.

Heloo guys. Happy face here. So 10 min of gaming and temperature is 54 C(usualy shouts down after 2min) . Problem was heatsink. Thx you all for help and for your advice.
Once agan thx you all :)

Heloo guys again. I sitll didn't make it to go in BIOS. As soon as i pres ESC and try to enter BIOS my lapotp shuts down. (It is not overheating , temperature is normal (45-65 C) ).

So something with bios is problem. I notice one time LEDs blink 6 times , and that is for: BIOS authentication failure.

What can i do about that? As i start to reinstal windows i got shut down in proces when lapotop needs to restart and unable to contiune instalation.

What can i do in this situatuon?

DId that allredy and got :

After repeated attempts, the HP BIOS Update screen does not open - Your computer does not support this function or it has a hardware problem that is preventing the tool from opening. Contact HP Support.

So i took bios battery out and reset it but still didn't help.

So i will try with RAM.

If it is heat issue i don't know what to do...

Nope. Ram didn't help. Well something is with motherboard probably. But nevermind. I still can use it for movies and surfing. (Temp of CPU is from 45-65 C and motherboard is 35-42 C so think that is not problem for shutdowns.)
